Getup Srinu performed very well. He generated laughs, evokes emotions while sporting a smiling face all the time. It is his performance that kept the movie emotionally charged. Ankita Kharat as a modern girl suits well for her role. She delivered adequate performance. Chakrapani, in the role of Srinu’s father, performs his role in a decent manner.

Highlights:

Getup Srinu

Comedy In First Half

Emotions In Second Half

Music

Drawbacks:

Feels Amateurish At Times In First Half

Analysis:

Director Krishnamachary came up with a usual story and screenplay but the problem he finds for the protagonist worked out well with the plot. While the first half generates laughs and scenes Raju tries to woo his love with his ever ‘Smiling face’ seems enjoyable. Some scenes felt like they have been handled amateurishly.

The second half where the film shifts to Hyderabad worked out well. The emotional scenes and twist in the love story have been crafted impressively. Getup Srinu with his performance surely makes the audience emotional especially during the second half.

The film was shot in natural.locations which brings authenticity to the story. Music by Harshwardhan Rameshwar is good and background music by Suresh Bobbili enhanced emotional scenes. Producers deserve special mention for backing such a film with quality resources.

Rating: 3/5

Bottom-line: Emotionally Charged ‘Ever Smiling’ Raju Yadav
