Performances:
Nithiin did the role of Arjun which is perfectly suited to him. His boy next door looks and charm made the character looks lively. He gave a very mature performance both in comedy as well as in emotional scenes. His chemistry with Keerthy Suresh is a treat to watch onscreen.
Keerthy Suresh gave her best in this film. She showed her acting prowess, especially during the emotional scenes and it added more depth to the film’s emotional angle. Her chemistry with Nithiin is one of the major highlights of the film.
Naresh as Nithiin’s father is apt and did very well. Vennela Kishore is at his usual best. Rohini, Kausalya, Gayatri Raghuram, and Vineeth are adequate. Abhinav and Suhas play as sidekicks to Nithiin and evokes laughs in the first half.

Analysis:
Venky Atluri who is known for breezy rom-com’s has come again adding more comedy and emotion this time with ‘Rang De. The entire first half is filled with neat comedy. It makes the narrative quite enjoyable. The story takes an interesting turn at the interval leaving the audience waiting for the second half.
The latter half also begins on an entertaining note and gradually becomes emotional towards the end. The film carries a very good feel from the scene where Nithiin feels the kicks on the unborn baby to the end. Venky Atluri did a commendable job in blending emotions and humor without affecting each other. Things don’t go overboard on either side and a proper flow is maintained throughout. He neatly handled the ego clashes scenes between the lead pair.
The writing, Nithiin, and Keerthy Suresh’s gripping performances, well-executed scenes together lead to an impressive climax which makes the audience leave the theatres with a smile and satisfaction.
Cinematography by PC Sriram is top-notch. He made a normal scene look beautiful with vibrant visuals. Songs picturization is terrific. Devi Sri Prasad gave another hit album and his BGM elevated the proceedings. Editing by Navin Nooli is fine. Production Values by Sithara Entertainments producer Naga Vamsi deserves a special mention. The entire movie looks rich in quality. ‘Rang De’ marks one more feel-good film from the Sithara Entertainments banner.
