Samantha Akkineni is in a promotional mode for her upcoming release “Oh Baby” these days. She is doing the promotions on a very aggressive scale where even the director Nandini Reddy is seen joining her in video interviews for digital platforms. When the trailer of Oh Baby released out everyone felt that Samantha has dubbed for her role but a video surfaced in a week gap where Chinmayi is seen lending her voice to her in Oh Baby movie.
Here is the reason behind bringing back Chinmayi to dub for Samantha in Oh Baby film folks. The older version character of Samantha played by actress Lakshmi speaks with a Godavari accent in her part. In order to pull off the right diction and proper Godavari accent that is required for the character that has comedy lines, emotional dialogues, Samantha and Team opted for dubbing with the seasoned artist. That’s how Chinmayi was brought into the picture to lend her voice to Samantha’s role in Oh Baby.
While on the promotional front, Oh Baby pre-release event is being planned on a grand note on 28th June in Hyderabad. A long list of guests from the Telugu film industry is going to take part in the event. Then Samantha has also planned special trips to Vijayawada, Vizag, and few other places in Andhra Pradesh to promote her film. Oh Baby is set for release on 5th of July in both the Telugu states.
