Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas played the leading ladies in the upcoming flick Saakini Daakini directed by Sudheer Varma and produced jointly by Suresh Productions, Guru Films and Kross Pictures. A few days before the release, the film’s theatrical trailer has been dropped.
While the teaser that got tremendous response focused mainly on the lead characters, the trailer shows much more about the film’s content and the conflicting point. The two girls who are training in a police academy are poor performers with lack of skills. But they turn extremely audacious, when situations force them to. They witness a kidnap and the rest is about the two together catching the gang behind many kidnaps in the city.
Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas are too good in humorous as well as action sequences. While the initial portions present them in hilarious roles, the later portions show the action side. Sudheer Varma has rightly adopted the story and made it as a perfect commercial entertainer.
Richard Prasad’s cinematography and Mikey McCleary, Naresh Kumaran’s camera work are the big assets. Viplav Nyshadam is the editor. D. Suresh Babu, Sunitha Tati and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim together produced the movie.
Saakini Daakini will be releasing in theatres on September 16th.
