B.A.Raju…a prominent media personality who has earned his place as a film journalist, PRO, magazine, website head and popular producer. He played an instrumental role in many Telugu films for 40 years. He has the experience of working with all the top heroes from Superstar Krishna. BA Raju has created his own mark as close aid to everyone in Tollywood and staying away from controversies.
BA Raju, who started his film career as a PRO was initially looking after the publicity affairs of Superstar Krishna, later excelled as a film journalist with Krishna gari encouragement. Later, he has worked in various capacities in daily popular magazines back then like Andhra Jyothi, Jyothi Chitra, Udayam, Shivaranjani, created a sensation in the Telugu film newspapers by establishing Super Hit Weekly in 1994 along with his wife B Jaya.

BA Raju ran the most popular Telugu film magazine, ‘Superhit’ for 27 years without missing a single issue till his death. Apart from that, he also has the honor of successfully running another magazine called Crazy World for a decade. Not just as a film journalist, he acted as an advisor and guide to top directors, heroes and heroines during their film career with his immense knowledge in films. BA Raju, who worked as publicity in-charge for more than 1500 films, immensely contributed to the success of those films. BA Raju’s down-to-earth nature, hardworking attitude and honesty made him dearest to the entire Telugu Film Industry. He has formed a close bond with everyone in the film industry, irrespective of big stars or small actors, technicians.
In 2001, the Super Hit Administration Office was also shifted to Hyderabad as the Telugu film industry shifted to Hyderabad. This year he entered into production under the superhit Friends banner with the film ‘Premalo Pavani Kalyan’ as the producer and his wife B Jaya as the director. This was followed by producing Chantigadu, Premikulu, Gundamma Gari Manavadu, Sawaal, Lovely, Vaisakham under the banner of RJ Cinemas in Jaya B’s direction. BA Raju’s Team, regularly provides industry news through the Industry Hit website launched by BA Raju and through his (Twitter) X account, which is very popular with more than 6.5 lakh followers.
Despite having very close relations with all the celebrities of the film industry… BA Raju shares special bonding with Evergreen Superstar Krishna and Superstar Mahesh Babu. He maintained a very good and healthy relationship and worked for Ghattamaneni Family till his last breat. He served as the president of the Film Critics Association. Whenever film journalists face any difficulty, BA Raju always comes.forward to provide financial and emotional assurance to them. He is a walking movie encyclopaedia. He knows and remembers everything about movies…..How many films has a director made with which hero? The name of the banner, the release date and how many days the movie was played in particular centers, etc. are always on the top of his tongue. He has acquired such kind of film knowledge becoming a part of the industry. It is unfortunate that BA Raju, who breathes movies 24 hours a day, is no longer among us.
