Story:
In a village, love blossoms when Indu (Payal) sees Siva (Karthikeya) at one of the celebrations of his father Vishwanatham’s (Rao Ramesh) local election body victories. At least that’s what Siva thinks and acts as per the whims of Indu. What happens when the guardian angel Daddy (Ramki) goes to meet Vishwanatham to settle the old disputes between them and ask for marriage?
Performance:
Karthikeya is one of the four pillars in the movie, on whom the entire film rests. He has to drive the emotion home. He does it with all his sincerity and connects to the audience with his rustic charm. Some of the crucial scenes are elevated with his acting. The pre-climax and climax are sensational.
Paayal Rajput is fabulous from the beginning and takes it to the next level in the second half. The progression of the character and the little transformation shown are enough to make a positive impression.
The senior actors Rao Ramesh and Ramki have done their part in supporting roles that are as strong as the lead actors. They always maintain a hold on the audience’s attention with their action. The rest of the actors are apt for their parts.

Analysis:
Ajay Bhupati takes an authentic subject and succeeds in keeping the flavour until the end without too many cinematic liberties. It is a regular love story on the surface but takes an unexpected dramatic turn as the narrative progresses. It is the dramatic shift that shocks the audience and manages to leave a lasting impact.
The first half is neatly build up by showcasing the essential players of the story. The chemistry is orderly established, and it shows clearly where and what the relationship is based on, and heading. The nonchalant nature of the female and the simpleton but an obsessively devoted character of male, contrasting each other is the major highlights of the movie. Some portions are needlessly dragged which could have made the narrative crispier.
Still, as it is RX 100 delivers to the audience what it promises, which is a violent love story. There is a lot of violence and passion, and that is ultimately the selling point.
Music director Chaitan Bharadwaj has done an excellent job in aiding raw emotions on screen. The songs and background score are apt for the subject. Ram captures the village side beautifully without any sets. The editing could have been tighter. The producer Ashok Reddy Gummakonda needs to be appreciated for taking up such bold subject and sticking with it without pandering too much into commercial sensibilities.
