Plot:
The story follows Vyoma Vaidyalingam (Aadi Pinisetty), a paranormal investigator from Mumbai, who is hired to investigate a series of mysterious suicides at a medical college in Kerala. As Vyoma delves deeper into the mystery, he experiences weird happenings and uncovers dark secrets involving the college. Then follows twists and turns as we proceed into the film. Did Vyoma crack the paranormal happenings, and how he used sound forms the crux of the story
Performances:
Aadhi Pinisetty delivers an intense performance as the paranormal investigator, bringing depth and nuance to his character. His body language, physique, and mannerisms add value to the narration, making him a compelling watch. Lakshmi Menon is good in her role as a doctor, while Simran and Laila play important roles that drive the story forward. Others like Rajiv Menon, MS Bhaskar, Redin Kingsley, Vivek Prasanna and others did their parts accordingly.

Analysis:
Sabdham is an interesting horror thriller that explores the concept of sound and its effects on human psychology. Director Arivazhagan gets an optimum impact from the cast and crew, but the script could have been fine-tuned to make the second half more engaging. Aadhi Pinisetty’s performance is a major highlight of the film, and he is ably supported by the technical team
The film’s predictable second half and simple climax are drawbacks. The intensity levels come down, and the screenplay slows down once the flashback and emotional scenes are highlighted. A little fine-tuning of the script and including a few more twists and turns in the second half would have made Sabdham a more powerful impact on the screen.
Altogether, Sabdham is an interesting horror thriller that explores a unique concept. Director Arivazhagan gets an optimum impact from the cast and crew, and Aadhi Pinisetty does full justice to his role. While the film has it’s drawbacks, it is still a chilling horror thriller worth watching. Sabdham could have been an even more impactful film with some fine-tuning of the script and pacing. Nevertheless, it is a commendable effort from the entire team.
