On the occasion of Bollywood hero Sanjay Dutt, the teaser of his upcoming film “Prasthanam” is released. It’s the official remake of Telugu hit movie with the same title in the direction of Deva Katta and the Hindi version is also directed by the same director while Sanjay Dutt’s wife is the producer.
Prasthanam teaser starts with the strong base voice of Sanjay Dutt with the dialogues of the mythological references from Mahabharatham and Ramayanam that are core plot points of the movie. If we don’t compare the Telugu original “Prasthanam” that had strong acting performances from Sai Kumar and Sharwanand for some time then we can observe with an open mind, the good part of the Hindi version can be sensed.
Sanjay Dutt is looking damper and he is the perfect fit for the bill to lead the Prasthanam on his shoulders. Perfect casting is done with Ali Fazal playing Sharwanand role, Satyajeet Dubey doing Sundeep Kishan character, Manisha Koirala in Sanjay Dutt wife role, Jackie Shroff easing Madhusudhan Rao role and Amyra Dastur as the heroine in Prasthanam Hindi remake.
Director Deva Katta is adopted and updated his old Prasthanam for the current time scenario. The political backdrop, the revenge saga, war for legacy, take on loyalty, integrity, everything is presented perfectly in the teaser. For the Telugu version the hard-hitting dialogues, the screenplay pattern has worked out impactfully and it looks like for the Hindi version intentionally the tone of powerful dialogues is kept low to feel the surprise while watching in the silver screen. A box office hit can be sensed after watching Prasthanam teaser, comment your take on it folks.
