Sarileru Neekevaru teaser opened to a sensation on Youtube. The movie unit promoted it so well that it caught the attention of everyone. The film’s director Anil Ravipudi is very happy with the response and feels it as the best birthday gift. On the occasion of his birthday today, the director interacted with the media where he revealed a lot of exciting things.
Anil Ravipudi revealed that he did not feel any pressure of handling a star hero for his movie. Talking about how the film kicked-off, Anil Ravipudi shared, “Mahesh Garu okayed my script by the time F2 shoot came to an end. Anil Sunkara Garu referred me to Mahesh Sir and I narrated him the story for 45 minutes. We were supposed to begin this after he completes his next film but fortunately, my project kicked-off immediately.”
There are a lot of rumors about the film’s story and Anil gave clarity to the same. Anil Ravipudi added an important message to the film’s story which is, “Safe-guarding the nation is not a soldier’s responsibility alone and the citizens also must do their bit and make the soldiers safe as well.” The director tells that the movie is the story of a soldier Ajay Krishna who returns to the main-stream society from the border. Anil adds, “We tried to showcase the human side of a soldier like their insecurities, humor, emotions, and everything.
Vijaya Shanthi plays the character called professor Bharathi in the movie and Anil says that he first approached her for Raja The Great and added that she immensely liked her role and the story because of which, the veteran actress came on board for Sarileru Neekevaru.
Talking about his film F2 getting screened at the 50th edition of the International Film Festival of India, the director said, “I am very happy and feel proud that our movie got screened at the festival. I could not attend the screening unfortunately but Dil Raju Garu graced the occasion.”
About two biggies releasing for Sankranthi, Anil Ravipudi opined that both are different movies and since it is going to be the festival time, the audiences might watch both the films on alternate days.
