Journey Of ‘Savyasachi’
When we were shooting for ‘Premam’ at Norway, Chandoo narrated the main point of ‘Savyasachi’ for 15 minutes. I told him that it would be an experimental film. Later in Hyderabad, he narrated complete version with all commercial elements. I am very much impressed with the final version. That’s how ‘Savyasachi’ started.
About Involvement In Script
I usually involve during the scripting stage. I listen to each and every script. I think about the pros and cons in it. But, we shouldn’t cross the line. We must respect the idea of Director.
About ‘Savyasachi’ Story
Chandoo has given a superb narration. I like his way of thinking. I did this film only because of him. Many said to us, not to remake ‘Premam’. But, Chandoo dealt it perfectly. He perfectly blended matching the interests of Telugu audience. He is a new age filmmaker. I was not sure how this film will turn out for up to 2nd schedule. Then looking at his work, I stopped bothering about the film.
About Vanishing Syndrome
I haven’t heard about this syndrome. But, after listening to the script I used to know about it through papers and YouTube videos.
About ‘Hello Brother’ Connection
No, It is quite different from Dad’s ‘Hello Brother’. In that film, Dad did a dual role as twins. But, here in ‘Savyasachi’, when one of the twins vanishes, the other one gets his qualities. That’s why the left hand will behave on its own like it was another person.
About Dances
Everyone has their own body language when it comes to dances. Masters compose steps according to their body language. When it comes to ‘Savyasachi’, Sekhar Master has a clear idea about my style and composed good choreography accordingly.
Is ‘Savyasachi’ An Out & Out Action Film?
No. The first half of the film is filled with hilarious entertainment. While the second half deals with the intense enmity between me and Madhavan Garu. On a whole, it’s an all-round film with all commercial elements blended with a unique concept.
Doing Mythological Roles
I will be seen as ‘Arjunudu’ in the film for a skit we play in the film. It’s a brief appearance. Vast experience is needed to do such kind of roles. There’s still a lot of time to do such roles.
About Dad’s Involvement
Dad used to listen to scripts during my career beginning days. Later he gave me a free hand. He watches my films before release in the editing room and suggests some corrections. He suggested some for this film too, mostly about emotions in the film.
About ‘Lagayittu‘ Remix
It’s Chandoo’s idea to remix that song. He blended the song very well in the second half. The remix was done by Keeravani Garu who did the original song. So, we were relieved.

About Shiva Nirvana’s Film
The title is yet to be finalized for that film. I and Samantha are doing the roles of a married couple. We fight with each other every day in the film. Contrary to the film, We never had a fight in our real life. So, we are acting on set. We are spending more time together because of this film. The film will release in summer. Shooting will be completed by February. ‘Venkymama’ will start from December.
About Another Film With Chandoo
After ‘Premam’ Chandoo said ‘let’s do one more film’. It boosted my confidence as an actor. After ‘Premam’ he narrated ‘Chanakya’ script too. Let’s see how it will take shape in the future.
