Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor scored a monstrous hit earlier this year with Kabir Singh. This Arjun Reddy remake collected 270 crores at the box office and remained as the biggest hit in Shahid’s career. Now, he is getting ready to remake another Telugu film.
Shahid is currently working on the Hindi remake of Jersey. Starring Nani, Jersey is a big hit in Telugu. Shahid fell in love with it after watching the film and decided that this is going to be his next project. Gautham Tinnanuri, who helmed the original, will direct this film as well.
Shahid plays the role of a middle-aged cricketer in this movie. He is currently prepping up for his role and is training in cricket. The shoot of the film starts in November end, in Chandigarh. Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, and Dil Raju are jointly bankrolling this project, which will hit the screens on 28 August 2020.
