When Ayushmann Khurrana and director Sriram Raghavan’s “Andhadhun” released last year, it was liked by audiences and a large section of South producers expressed desired to remake the movie. Hero Siddharth is one of the first heroes from Tamil who has expressed interest in remaking Andhadhun in and the hero has even tweeted his followers to give their opinions if they like to see him playing blind piano player from the Bollywood film.
But as per official reports, Andhadhun Tamil remake rights are purchased by hero Prashanth father Thiagarajan for an undisclosed price. Even in the past director Sriram Raghavan’s “Johnny Gaddar” Tamil remake rights were bought by Thiagarajan and made it on Tamil with Prashanth playing the main lead actor in the remake. Thiagarajan has mentioned that Prashanth is a trained piano player and he has studied in the Trinity College of Music, London in Western music and Piano.
It’s an easy task for her to play the role of a blind piano player and his previous movies are mere proof that he can pull off the required performance for the role. Right now they are looking for a perfect director who can handle the Tamil remake of Andhadhun full filling the needed sensibilities matching to the Tamil audiences. An official announcement about the rest of the cast and the crew detailed will be announced very soon.
