Suresh Babu is one of the most successful producers in the movie industry who is currently busy with the release works of Venkatesh’s Venky Mama which also features Naga Chaitanya Akkineni. On the other side, the producer is set to remake popular Tamil blockbuster Asuran in Telugu, in association with V Creations that bankrolled the original. Venkatesh plays the lead in it and the producer has given clarity on who will direct the project.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Filter Kapi youtube channel, Suresh Babu revealed that he saw the movie as a complete family drama. “Unlike the revenge and crime angle, I saw it as a story of a family where the head wants to protect his family members. Venkatesh already touched a subject like this in the past with Jayam Mandera,” said Suresh Babu, adds, “The Telugu version will not be as much dark as the original.”
The ace producer also told that Venkatesh took up the project as a challenge to see himself in the younger version of the movie like how he did in Chanti, Abbayi Garu, and few other movies.
“We have zeroed in the director for the project already. Srikanth Addala who earlier worked with Venky is directing the film,” confirmed Suresh Babu in the interview.
