Ravi Boyidapu, a passionate cinematographer who worked as DOP for the upcoming Unique Thriller ’22’ is someone to watch out for his talent. Ravi Boyidapu hails from the heart of Andhra Pradesh, from the most happening city, Vijayawada. The teaser of the ’22’ Movie starring Rupesh Kumar Choudhary in Shiva Kumar B‘s Direction was out and it puts Ravi’s skilled craft on display. Ravi Boyidapu worked as First Assistant Cameraman for popular cinematographer Kamaljeet Negi for big Bollywood films like Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe, Bhoothnath Returns, Jolly LLB 2, Piku, Grahan, and did Gujarat State Tourism ADs too. He also worked with Marcin Laskawiec for Salman Khan starrers Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat. He also has experience working for a Hollywood Film ‘Lion’ starring Dev Patel with cinematographer Grieg Fraser. Ravi Boyidapu is also known for his calmness & unique lighting techniques which are the utmost requirement for any kind of movie. Adding to this his down-to-earth personality helps him to create a friendly atmosphere & brisk-paced shoot which makes the film complete well before the scheduled dates.
Ravi Boyidapu also worked for Shiva Kumar’s Directorial, a web series titled ‘Workout Ayyindi’ which is currently streaming on MX Player. He is currently working for ‘Aranyavasam’ movie. When asked about the method and technique he uses in filming, Ravi says, ” First of all, I start working after completely understanding the script. Then I chose the equipment required for that story and do some homework before going to the sets. This helps me to give my best output for the film.”
