Walt Disney Studios ambitious film “The Lion King” was released last week all across the globe and making record business at the box office. In India, The Lion King was released in English, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi languages in a record number of screens and the idea of dubbing with stars from respective film industries has worked out perfectly to get big openings for the Hollywood movie.
From day one The Lion King has received a positive response from all section but there is a small disappointment for the audiences who have already watched the original released in the year 1994. But the special 3D technology, photo-realistic animation techniques and other methods that were implemented to give a visual cinematic experience to audiences were liked by all that is shown in the box office numbers of “The Lion King” film.
As per official reports till the Tuesday run at the Indian box office “The Lion King” has made 69.67 crores and by end of the first week tomorrow it will make 100 crores. Film trade analysts have analyzed that The Lion King will easy make 150 crores plus by end of its second week and turn into another hit for a Hollywood dubbed movie in India movie market.
