Malayalam Star Dulquer Salmaan has made his Bollywood entry last year with the film Karwaan. That was a relatively low budget film and didn’t give Dulquer a flying start to his B-Town career. Immediately, he signed a film called The Zoya Factor, which stars Sonam Kapoor as the female lead.
It is an adaptation of the book of the same name which was written by Anuja Chauhan. The filming of this movie was wrapped up a few months ago and today, the makers have dropped the theatrical trailer of the film. Going by it, the film looks like a healthy romantic comedy.
It portrays the story of a cricketer who doesn’t believe in luck until a girl called Zoya enters his life. She eventually becomes his lucky charm and makes him win the World Cup in 2011. The chemistry shared by Dulquer and Sonam is quite fresh and became an x-factor for the film. This Abhishek Sharma directorial is all set to hit the screens on September 20.
