Director Harish Shankar post the success of DJ film with Stylish Star Allu Arjun has taken a tough task of remaking Tamil hit “Jigarthanda” as “Valmiki” in Telugu. Another challenging step the director has taken is casting Mega Prince Varun Tej in the role of a gangster when the mega hero has a chocolate lover boy image in Tollywood. But when the Valmiki teaser is released everyone got surprised with the makeover of Varun Tej.
Valmiki which is set to release on 13th September is now releasing on September 20th to avert the clash with Natural Star Nani’s Gang Leader which is also scheduled to release on 13th September.
A few moments back Valmiki producers Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta and Nani’s Gang Leader film producers Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar have arranged a press meet along with The Producers Guild represented by Dil Raju, KL Damodar Prasad regarding their films release date. In order to avoid the clash at the box office, Valmiki is now releasing on September 13th and Nani’s Gang Leader is going to release on 13th September 2019.
