Veteran actress Ramya Krishna has come on board for a pivotal role in the upcoming women-centric Telugu film “Queen,” directed by talented young filmmaker Rathan Rishi. The film introduces popular social media influencer ER Yamini as the lead actress and is being produced under the One Circle Films banner.
The makers have officially announced that Ramya Krishna will portray Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Lakshmi Pranathi, a powerful and influential character that is expected to be one of the major highlights of the film. With her commanding screen presence and exceptional acting skills, Ramya Krishna is set to impress audiences in this strong political role.
Inspired by real-life incidents and personalities while presenting a fictional narrative, “Queen” is set between 2006 and 2010. The film combines political drama with an engaging love story that reflects contemporary social issues, promising a unique cinematic experience.
The film also stars Dialogue King Sai Kumar as the heroine’s father, while Ajay Ghosh and Kalakeya Prabhakar play the antagonists. Tanikella Bharani, Naveen Bethiganti, and several other notable actors are part of the ensemble cast.
