Here is a piece of happy news for all the hard-core fans and followers of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Director Mahi V Raghav has made an official announcement about the sequel to Yatra movie a biopic film made on Andhra Pradesh Ex-Chief Minister YSR. On the AP elections results days when YS Jagan was winning the majority of seats to become the second CM to Andhra Pradesh state, Mahi V Raghav hinted about Yatra 2.
Today the director has announced the Yatra 2 along with stating the reasons behind his decisions. Mahi tweeted, as
“YSR’S story is incomplete without Y.S. Raja Reddy & Y.S.Jagan. Yatra 2 will complete their story. The reason why Yatra ended on Y.S. Jagan is we could take it off from where we left. YSR’s Yatra started from his father grave and Jagan’s Yatra from his father’s #yatra2”
The director has not mentioned anything about the cast and crew details of Yatra 2 movie and not even a probable launch or release date. There were speculations earlier also while making Yatra that Tamil hero Suriya will be playing YS Jagan role but at the end, the politician was shown in end credits only. Director Mahi V Raghav has made Yatra with total honesty sticking to the content and this is the prime reasons for film success at the box office along with receiving appreciation from everyone. Shiva Meka will be producing the yatra sequel too and an official announcement about the cast, crew of Yatra 2 will be made soon.
