Nani Presents, Nithiin, Murali Kanth Devasoth, Deepthi Ganta, Unanimous Productions’ Alias Rukmini Theatrical Release On December 4
After the blockbuster success of COURT – State Vs A Nobody, Natural Star Nani’s Unanimous Productions is gearing up to bring another family entertainer. Titled Alias Rukmini, the film stars Nithiin in the lead role and is being directed by Dhandora fame Murali Kanth Devasoth. Produced by Deepthi Ganta, Alias Rukmini is shaping up to be an exciting project with a distinctive narrative and a refreshing approach. The team has just one more shooting schedule left to complete.
With production progressing at a brisk pace and post-production activities advancing simultaneously, the makers have locked December 4 for the film’s worldwide theatrical release. The release date poster presents Nithiin as a typical middleclass man. Dressed in a checked shirt, formal trousers, and spectacles, he carries a shoulder bag while standing amid a crowd at a court, with lawyers and cops in the background. His composed yet curious expression hints at a character navigating an unfamiliar situation. The silhouette of the female lead adds to the mystery.
The protagonist- Krishna leads a quiet, ordinary life, navigating the complexities of a world where some truths are better left unspoken. But when love enters his life, an unexpected secret threatens to turn everything he believes in upside down. A story of love and hidden truths, Alias Rukmini explores the thin line between what society accepts and what it chooses to question.
The project has generated considerable curiosity within industry circles, with its unusual concept and promising combination of talent adding to the anticipation. The announcement glimpse, which offered a taste of the film’s quirky humour, received an encouraging response, further strengthening the positive buzz surrounding the movie. Nithiin is set to appear in a particularly distinctive character, making his role one of the key talking points of the project.
The film’s promotional campaign is also gearing up to gather momentum. The makers will soon kick-start the musical promotions with the release of the first single.
Jomon T. John ISC handles the cinematography, while Vijai Bulganin is composing the music. Avinash Kolla oversees production design, and Srujana Adusumilli is in charge of editing.
