A few years back, Bollywood Beauty Deepika Padukone shocked everyone by revealing that she is dealing with depression. She had to undergo multiple therapies to get out of it.
But the actress recently revealed that she again went into depression while filming for the movie, Chhapaak. Bollywood Beauty Deepika Padukone broke down during the trailer launch of this film, saying that this is the toughest and the most mentally challenging character that she has ever played in her career.
It seems that the actress felt she was mentally exhausted while shooting for this film. Initially, she thought that the exhaustion is because of her busy schedule but later realized that it is not the case. She used to feel trapped and got troubled internally a lot. Immediately, she called her counselor and shot the entire film by keeping the counselor on the sets.
Deepika played the role of acid attack survivor Lakshmi Agarwal in this movie. Meghna Gulzar of Raazi fame directed Chhapaak. It will hit the screens on January 10, 2020.
