Blockbuster Director Nag Ashwin created Kalki 2898 AD with Rebel Star Prabhas, delivering a major box-office success and winning two National Awards. Sharing his happiness on the occasion, Nag Ashwin said he considers himself fortunate to have a star like Prabhas, who wholeheartedly believes in a director’s vision. He revealed that the regular shoot of Kalki 2 will begin in October and that the team aims to complete the entire shoot by June next year. He further stated that the sequel will be mounted on an even grander scale, with stronger emotions than the first film.
Released in 2024, Kalki 2898 AD emerged as another major success for Prabhas. The actor impressed audiences with his performances in the roles of Bhairava and Karna, delivering some of his best work in the film. Movie lovers across the world have been eagerly waiting for Kalki 2, which is among the most anticipated Indian sequels.
