Ever since, ‘Geethanjali Malli Vachindi’, sequel to superhit ‘Geethanjali’ was announced, the film carries good buzz among the audiences. The film stars Anjali in the lead which also marks her 50th film. The film directed by Shiva Turlapati Produced by Kona Venkat along with MVV Satyanarayana hit the screens today, on 11th April. Let us see how the film turned out to be.
Story:
The story is about Sreenu (Srinivas Reddy), a director who tasted success with his debut film “Geethanjali” but faced a string of flops afterwards. When he is determined to revamp his dwindling career he gets a golden opportunity in the form of an industrialist Vishnu (Rahul Madhav) in Ooty offers him the chance to direct a horror film. Sreenu along with his team, including writers Atreya and Arudra (Satyam Rajesh and Shakalaka Shankar), and an aspiring hero (Satya) gets ready to shoot the film. They cast Anjali (Anjali), the star of their successful debut and current owner of a coffee shop. However, things take a spooky turn as they begin filming in a haunted bungalow. Strange things happen during their shoot. It gets more mysterious with a doll entering into the picture along with characters of Killer Nani (Sunil) and Ventroloquist Venkatarao (Ali). How are these elements connected to the haunting? Will Sreenu overcome the obstacles and deliver a successful film? Concludes the film.
Performances:
Anjali shines in the titular role, bringing her character to life with her impressive comic timing and expressive performance. Despite the limited screen time, she leaves a lasting impression with her ferocious portrayal in the climax, showcasing her versatility as an actress.
Comedian Satya steals the show with his trademark humor, delivering laugh-out-loud moments that leave the audience in splits. Srinivas Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, deliver commendable performances, adding depth and dimension to the narrative. Sunil manages to evoke laughter to a certain extent. Other notable actors like Srikanth Iyengar, Rao Ramesh, Goparaju Ramana, Ravi Shankar, and Rahul Madhav fulfill the requirements of their characters effectively.

Analysis:
Director Shiva Turlapati succeeded in keeping the audience engaged throughout this horror comedy. The first half deals with the fresh story and gradually connects the missing pieces by the end of the first half. The comedy works well perfectly balancing the thrill element to keep the narration intriguing.
The second half is high on blending fear, thrill, and laughter. Satya and, to some extent, Sunil, did their part with their comedic performances, which resulted in hilarious moments. The film’s climax is where Anjali showed her acting prowess and she made the intense climax workout well concluding the film on a high note.
Pravin Lakkaraju’s music complementing the storyline with catchy tunes and foot-tapping beats. The background score enhances the overall viewing experience. Cinematographer Sujatha Siddhartha’s visuals capture the essence of the haunted mansion, creating an atmosphere of mystery and intrigue. Chota K Prasad’s editing keeps the pace of the film engaging. The production values by MVV Cinema and Kona Film Corporation are top-notch.
