Sriranga Neethulu stirred interest among the viewers with its talented cast, Suhas, Viraj Ashwin, Ruhani Sharma and Karthik Rathnam. The film grabbed attention with its trailer which offered a slice of life film. Directed by Praveen Kumar, Sriranga Neethulu is produced by Venkateshwar Rao Balmuri. The film is released by Producers Dheeraj Mogilineni in theatres on April 11, 2024. Let’s get into the review.
Story:
Sriranga Neethulu explores lives of three young individuals from diverse backgrounds and how they navigate through the challenges that life throws at them. Shiva (Suhas), works as a technician at Samsung electronic showroom desires to earn fame by erecting flexi of his photo with local politician in his area. Varun (Viraj Ashwin) and Aishwarya (Ruhani Sharma) are in love. Aishwarya feels that she got pregnant and struggles to explain her love to her parents where as Varun wants her to take acceptance from her parents for their marriage. Karthik (Karthik Rathnam) is is lost in his own world indulging in smoking, drinking, and even growing cannabis plants. Once police get to know about him growing plants, they try to nab him. His father played by Devi Prasad tries to bring him to normalcy. The film navigates through the journey of these characters, and the rest of the film concludes where they have reached finally.
Performances:
Suhas effortlessly carried his character with ease. The role suits him well. He carried it with conviction delivering apt expressions, adding depth to his portrayal. Viraj Ashwin gets into the role of a handsome young man who struggles to solve his love problem with his girlfriend. He fits the bill perfectly and also performed matured emotions effectively. Ruhani Sharma impressively portrayed a character filled with multiple emotions and confusion. Karthik Rathnam, did well in a role who is lost amidst frustration. He owned his role and added more depth to his character with his impressive act.
Other actors like Vasu Inturi, Muralidhar Goud, Jeevan Kumar, Inturi Vasu, and Avasarala Srinivas perform according to the demands of their roles, adding to the overall narrative of the film.

Analysis:
Sriranga Neethulu, written and directed by Praveen Kumar, explores the lives of three individuals and the consequences of their actions. Narrated through the perspective of Tanikella Bharani’s character, the film aims to deliver a message about societal acceptance and forgiveness. The first half introducing the main characters with a tinge of comedy works out well.
The second half gets deep into their struggles, with a message about second chances is commendable. The three stories navigates seperately and didn’t have any connection. Director managed to keep these stories clearly without any confusion with neat screenplay. After an engaging character development, the film feels like it lacks the needed emotional depth and the climax is concluded in a simple manner.
The editing by Shashank Vupputiri is adequate. Tijo Tomy’s cinematography, impresses with visuals aiding to story proceedings. Ajay Arasada’s background score and Harshavardhan Rameshwar’s music gels well with the theme of the film. Production values are neat and producer Venkateshwar Rao deserves appreciation for backing such a message oriented film.
