Director Gunasekhar’s upcoming project is ‘Hiranyakadyapa’ with Rana Daggubati as the main lead. The pre-production work of this mythological film going in a full swing. As Hiranyakashyapa needs to be mounted on a massive scale, Gunasekhar decided to make another film meanwhile.
Today Director Gunasekhar announced his new film titled ‘Shaakuntalam’. As the title suggests, This film is based on a tale of love from the Adi Parva of the Mahabharata. Mani Sharma who scores blockbusters for Gunasekhar is composing the music for this film. Director Gunasekhar’s daughter Neelima Guna is the Producer for this film on the Guna Teamworks banner.
