Sweety (Rakul Preet Singh) wins the love of Chakravarthi family through her care and affection. He promises that there would never be a tears in her eyes. When she is facing a life threatening situation how the son of Chakravarti comes to help her is the main story of the film.

Performances:

Bellamkonda Srinivas gives a very consistent performance. He maintains same expression throughout and is sporty enough to wink at this through dialogue in the movie. He has superb in fights and dances.

Rakul Preet Singh is the heart of the film. She shows great variation in her performance in the first and second half. From lively to dull, Rakul portrays wide gamut of expressions. It is easily, one of the best outings for her as an actress.

Jagapathi Babu and Sharath Kumar play exactly opposite characters in nature and they both deliver the required. Tarun Arora is good in a predictable way and so is Suman. The rest of the actors are apt for their parts

Drawbacks:

The story is somewhat predictable

Analysis :

Boyapati Srinu is a mass director who knows the mass pulse all too well. With Jaya Janaki Nayaka, he delivers another mass film that is full of emotions with rich visuals and big action blocks.

The first half of the movie is dedicated to emotion building and character establishment. All the different characters are introduced in a powerful way. Once that is over the story takes over which is predictable. However, Boyapati Srinu makes sure there is little predictability. The interval scene is a good example of that. The way it unfolds is what makes the proceedings entertaining and gripping.

Post-intermission, all the different threats and threads are tied together neatly with good emotions behind it. The whole stretch from the Hamsaladeevi fight till the end is tight and crisp. It is what makes the predictable entertainer, what it is. The end is satisfactory in a worth of money short is way. There is enough bang for the bucks.

The music for the film is given By Devi Sri Prasad. It is alright. However, they have been shot very well. The background score is shown. The cinematography By Rishi Panjab is amazing. Editing is neat. Dialogues are good in conveying the emotions precisely. Production values are terrific.

Bottom-line: Grand Action Entertainer

Rating: 3/5
