Tamil psycho killer thriller Ratchasan which was a smash hit is now remade in Hindi with Akshay Kumar in the lead role titled CuttPutlli. The film is directed by Ranjit M Tewari and Produced by Pooja Films. Rakul Preet Singh is seen as a co-star of Akshay Kumar in this film. As a part of Akshay Kumar’s multi-film deal with Disney + Hotstar, CuttPutlli will be streamed on OTT giant on September 2.
The makers dropped the trailer. The film is set in a sleepy hill station Kasauli where girls have been kidnapped and gruesomely murdered. Akshay Kumar as a cop after a psycho killer seems convincing in his role. The thrilling factor is well maintained throughout the trailer with a haunting background score. The trailer for sure raises curiosity on the film for those who have not seen or well aware of the original.
