After taking a long gap post the release of Srinivasa Kalyanam, actress Raashi Khanna is now gearing up for two releases in the span of one week. Her Venky Mama will hit the theatres on the 13th of December and another film Prathiroju Pandaage will have a worldwide release on the 20th. Meanwhile, Raashi will soon have another release in the form of World Famous Lover.
In a recent interview, Raashi said that she is open to web series and female-oriented films. The Joru actress stated that these days, more female-centric films are coming and actresses are managing to get meaty roles. She also said that times are changing and actresses are doing well even after getting married, which was not the case a few years back. Raashi pointed out that Samantha is still doing so well in films, even after getting hitched to Naga Chaitanya.
Speaking about the recent rape incident, Raashi said that she was furious after reading the news and opined that all such culprits should get a strong punishment. She also urged women to carry pepper sprays along with them. She also added that parents should teach their kids on the behavior, right from childhood.
