Star heroine Kajal Aggarwal who recently had success in the form of ‘Comali’ where she was paired opposite Jayam Ravi is now geared up to start the shoot of her debut web series directed by Venkat Prabhu of Ajith’s ‘Gambler’ fame. This will be the first web series for the director as well.
The latest update is that Kajal has commenced shooting for this yet-to-be-titled web series today in Chennai. Venkat Prabhu had earlier planned to shoot this script as a feature film but had later found the web platform as the appropriate medium for it. The series will have 10 episodes and will be streamed on the popular OTT platform, Hotstar.
Actor Vaibhav will be seen as Kajal’s pair in the web series while Telugu girl Aanandhi will also be seen in a key role. Both Kajal and Vaibhav earlier collaborated with Venkat Prabu for the 2008 thriller ‘Saroja’. More details on this web series are expected soon.
Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu has completed shooting his new film ‘Party’ which is expected to release soon.
