Young actor Vicky Kaushal has carved a niche for himself with his performances in films like ‘Masaan’, ‘Raazi’ and ‘URI’. He recently bagged the National Award for the Best Actor for his portrayal of Major Vihaan Singh in ‘URI’ and is now considered to be one of the most bankable actors in Bollywood.
Now Vicky Kaushal is all set to venture into the horror genre with Bhanu Pratap Singh’s ‘Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship’ which is being produced by Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan. The film shoot was wrapped up recently and today Karan Johar took to his Twitter handle to share the first look poster of the film which also reveals the release date.

In the poster, Vicky can be seen being dragged into the water by a ghost while he is struggling to get out in what looks like a half-sunken ship. Apart from Vicky, the film will see Bhumi Pednekar playing the female lead. The film is said to be based on a true story based on a spooky ship and the first part of the planned franchise is all set to release on November 15, 2019.
